Learning through time and connection in the great outdoors.

We believe that outdoor education provides an exciting, physical medium for learning, aiming to develop each pupil as an individual, as a member of the school community and as a future adult; and all while supporting National Curriculum Key Stages 2-4.

Our adventure days are available as a half day (2-3 hours), a full day (5-6 hours) or as a 2 to 5 day day residential course.

Gorge Walking Wales is owned & operated by Black Mountain Adventure and has been providing adventure activities and school, youth group and college residential courses for over 30 years.

What our sessions & courses provide?

Adventure activities in Wales for Schools & Youth Groups
The outdoor adventure courses we offer give students the opportunity to learn an unrivalled variety of new skills and abilities, as well as help them recognise and accept their own personal strengths and limitations.

The aims of our training programs are:
